Gina Puntil – Artistic Director / Program Coordinator of the Work Plays Schools Program
Gina is a proud Filipino-Candian that has been very involved with social active theatre in Alberta for the past 17 years as a Stage Manager, Production Manager, Director, Teacher, and Mentor for young emerging artists. Her first adventure with the Alberta Workers’ Health Centre happened in 2005 and she is now the Guardian [read: Artistic Director / Program Coordinator] for the Work Plays Schools Program. Gina is proud to bring the important message of Work Place Safety and Worker’s Rights wrapped in a professionally sculpted artistic presentation to students and young workers. She got her first job at the age of 15 as a pie cutter at the Calgary International Airport. A skill she still shows off today. Pronouns: she, her, hers.
Kristi Hansen – Booking Coordinator of the Work Plays Schools Program
Kristi Hansen has worked with the Work Plays Schools Program over the past 10 years as an Actor, Director, and now the Booking Coordinator. In addition to working with the Alberta Workers’ Health Centre, Kristi is also the Co-Artistic Producer of Azimuth Theatre, the Co-Artistic Director of The Maggie Tree, and an Ensemble member of Teatro la Quindicina in Edmonton, AB. Kristi’s first job was at Claire’s where she pierced ears and sold trinkets as a 15 year-old girl in Saskatoon, SK.
